On the bridge near 30th Street Station
"The Family" in Center City
We went down to Penzeys on Germantown Avenue to replenish our spice collection today. We finished there and headed to Narberth to visit Cloth and Bobbin quilt shop. After that we went and parked at 30th street station and walked around the city for a bit!
In Hamburg, Pa. We escaped for a nice walk today.
We took a road trip on Father’s Day to Hugh Moore State Park. While we were there, we rode the mule barge up the Lehigh River. We were pulled by two mules, Hank and George. It was very peaceful and serene.
We also visited the Emrick Technology Center. The center featured various displays of machinery, photos, and other items from Bethlehem Steel and from Dixie.
Here are some of the pictures I took during our walk along the towpath! There is a slideshow of the trip below. If you click the little person icon on the slideshow to bring up the title of the show, and the click on the title, it will take you to my picasa album of the trip; from there you can hit slideshow on the top left and see the show in a much larger size!
On the way to retreat we stopped at Martin’s in Morgantown and we also went on a trip to Zook’s. I will show the fabrics I picked up over the next couple of days: these are two neat black and white prints I found!
